May 11, 2026: The Sports Committee of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), in collaboration with Business France, is set to welcome a high-level India Sports Leaders Delegation to Paris on June 30, 2026 for the RIGES 2026 (Rencontres Internationales du Grand Événement Sportif). This platform serves as a vital bridge between international decision-makers, sports federations, and infrastructure innovators.

As India transitions into a global sports powerhouse and accelerates its ambitions to host major global sporting events, this platform will bring together industry leaders, institutions, and policymakers. The aim remains to strengthen Indio–French collaboration across sports technology, infrastructure, education, and investment. By leveraging French expertise in managing mega-events and sustainable development, the delegation aims to create a sustainable roadmap for India’s own future hosting aspirations and grassroots growth.

Mr. PKSV Sagar, Chairperson of the FICCI Sports Committee, said, “The India Sports Leaders Delegation to RIGES 2026 represents a strategic milestone in our bilateral relations. As India pursues its ‘Olympic Vision 2036,’ learning from the French expertise in managing mega-events and development of sustainable infrastructure is invaluable. We are here to not only showcase India’s rapidly evolving market but to build a long-term roadmap for innovation and investment.”

Mr. Sanjay Adesara, Co-chair of the FICCI Sports Committee, added, “Our goal is to create a seamless exchange of knowledge and technology. From sports science to fan engagement, France has consistently set global benchmarks. This delegation will facilitate in ensuring that Indian innovators and French enterprises can co-create the next generation of global sports solutions.”

RIGES continues to be a premier international summit dedicated to the business of major sporting events, connecting organizing committees and professional leagues with leading technology companies to explore international development opportunities.
