Jamshedpur, 07th October 2025: Day seven of the 5th Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Department National Championship 2025 saw Comptroller & Auditor General of India, Food Corporation of India, Petroleum Sports Promotion Board and Services Sports Control Board book their spots in the final four, following victories in their respective Quarter-Finals fixtures at the Naval Tata Hockey Academy ISWP Ground in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
Comptroller & Auditor General of India will face Food Corporation of India in the first Semi-Final, while Petroleum Sports Promotion Board will take on Services Sports Control Board in the second Semi-Final, on October 9th.

In the first Quarter-Final of the day, Comptroller & Auditor General of India defeated All India Police Sports Control Board, 4-2. Thrishul Ganapathi (20’, 47’) and Aamid Safaraz Khanpathan (29’, 41’) led the way with braces for Comptroller & Auditor General of India. Aman Sharma (44’, 53’) scored for All India Police Sports Control Board.
In another Quarter-Final, Food Corporation of India defeated Central Secretariat 2-0. After a slow start, Abhishek (41’) and Rinku Antil (44’) scored in quick succession to secure the victory.
Petroleum Sports Promotion Board edged past Railway Sports Promotion Board, 5-4 in a shootout after a 1-1 draw across four quarters. Gursahibjit Singh (4’) gave Railway Sports Promotion Board the lead before Gurjinder Singh (17’) levelled the scores for Petroleum Sports Promotion Board. Sumit Kumar and Vishwas G scored twice, while Captain Sunil Devindar Walmiki also found the net to clinch the ensuing shootout for Petroleum Sports Promotion Board.

In the last Quarter-Final of the day, Services Sports Control Board defeated Sports Authority of India, 3-2. Sushil Dhanwar (12’), Rajat Minza (33’), and Ajinkya Jadhav (46’) scored for Services Sports Control Board while Mohammad Zaid Khan (8’), and Sundaram Singh Rajawat (58’) scored for Sports Authority of India.
