Hyderabad, 9 October 2025: India’s inaugural FIP Silver Padel Tournament at the KPGBA in Hyderabad witnessed scintillating action today, with several pairs earning a place in the round of 32. India’s E. Sai Teja and R. Kishore, France’s Y. Borgel and S. Charni, Iran’s K. Rezaee and M. Gholamhoseinpour, and India’s N. Kodali and R. Achanta were the day’s standout qualifiers, joining the next stage of the competition where tougher matches await.
The first round saw India’s E. Sai Teja and R. Kishore defeat India’s S. Tirnati and M. Hussain 6-2, 6-4. Ireland’s A. Healy and India’s S. Sivareddy advanced via a walkover against India’s A. Jagtap and USA’s S. Utamsingh. France’s Y. Borgel and S. Charni were dominant against India’s S. Sharma and H. Samah, winning 6-1, 6-1. India’s S. Colah and Great Britain’s A. Patel overcame India’s D. Arora and A. Ahmed 6-0, 6-1, while India’s A. Kumar and M. Hyder defeated India’s A. Kontham and Australia’s R. Sirigiri 6-2, 6-1.
In the second round, India’s E. Sai Teja and R. Kishore continued their strong form, defeating Ireland’s A. Healy and India’s S. Sivareddy 6-3, 6-4. France’s Y. Borgel and S. Charni beat India’s S. Colah and Great Britain’s A. Patel 6-4, 6-2. Iran’s K. Rezaee and M. Gholamhoseinpour prevailed over India’s A. Kumar and M. Hyder 6-0, 6-2, and India’s N. Kodali and R. Achanta defeated India’s D. Gowda and V. Kotha 6-1, 6-2 to secure their spots in the round of 32, where top-ranked international players and India’s rising athletes will battle for supremacy across Men’s and Women’s categories.
